Differential Diagnosis – FREE, but we would appreciate a donation to our “Indigent Fund”. Your donation will help pay the expense of searches for those who cannot afford them. We try not to turn anyone away that is in need of our help. (Last year we provided over 300 free searches.) Without donations, this would not be possible and the free searches such as the one I provided for you will no longer be available.

This search you should be able to do on your own. Do a search for your diagnose on a search engine, (ex. Lupus on GO.com) along with (Differential Diagnosis) If you are unable to find anything, drop us an email and we’ll do it for you.

A differential diagnosis is a working list of possibilities that a physician uses in the process of diagnosing a specific disease. We hope that by providing you with a differential diagnosis, (other possible diagnosis) we will encourage conversations between you and your physician. This may be particularly helpful if you feel as though you are at an impasse and you are in search of new ideas.
In such a situation, there are two possibilities:

First, that your doctors diagnosis is correct, but (for a variety of reasons) the chosen treatment is not effective.

The second, and mostly found by us, the possibility is that the diagnosis is incorrect.In this situation, knowledge of the differential diagnosis may lead to the exploration of alternative explanations for your problem. We supply you with alternative diagnoses for you and your physician to consider being the correct diagnosis. If your doctors are having trouble finding your correct diagnosis, we can help. We specialize in finding what others can’t. All information reports come from medical professionals throughout the world. Please email us your request. Please do not call.
